What the Complete Edition includes

The Complete Edition packages the base game with the NieR: Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE crossover DLC, a Stargazer outfit set for EVE, Adam, and Lily, extra accessories, a Planet Diving Suit for EVE, two Drone packs, and a head start of 2,000 SP EXP and 5,000 Gold. SHIFT UP is publishing the Switch 2 version itself. The port was first confirmed during June's Nintendo Direct, and the game unlocked at 7:00 AM Pacific on November 5, making Switch 2 its third platform after the PlayStation 5 original in April 2024 and the PC version in June 2025.

Bayonetta outfits arrive free on all platforms

Four free Bayonetta-inspired outfits for EVE arrive with the launch, and they are not a Switch 2 exclusive: the same outfits are also available on PlayStation 5 and PC starting today. The physical Switch 2 edition ships with the full game on the cartridge rather than a game-key card, and a limited SteelBook is available through Panax. The Switch 2 version also adds Joy-Con 2 motion controls for non-combat activities.

A port with a caveat, and a sequel on the way

Early verdicts on the port are mixed on performance. Nintendo Life scored the Switch 2 version 7/10, praising the combat and exploration while noting the visuals and performance are not quite as good as hoped, with a frame-generation toggle and a 30 fps cap option to smooth things out. SHIFT UP is already working on the sequel, Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, revealed at Summer Game Fest in June and self-published, with platforms still unannounced.

Stellar Blade Complete Edition is available now on Nintendo Switch 2 for $59.99 through the Nintendo eShop and at retail. The game is also available on PlayStation 5 and PC.
