ANOMALITH Boss Guide: Shirayamigata, the Girl-Type, and Kaede Mori

ANOMALITH boss guide with verified tactics for Shirayamigata, the Girl-type Anomaly, and Kaede Mori, plus an honest roster note: Cyclops and the Self leader are confirmed boss defeats with tactics still unverified. No invented health, phases, or drops.

ANOMALITH Boss Guide: Shirayamigata, the Girl-Type, and Kaede Mori
Guide chapters7 chapters

ANOMALITH has five boss defeats with their own trophy conditions, but only three of them have tactics that can be verified from published walkthroughs right now: Shirayamigata in the hospital, the Girl-type Anomaly in the shopping street and the subway, and Kaede Mori in the marshalling yard. This guide gives full tactics for those three, lists the other two honestly as tactics-unverified, and does not invent health numbers, phases, or drops for any of them.

Official key art: Reona Minazuki, rifle ready. Three bosses below have verified tactics; two more are listed with their existence confirmed and their tactics honestly marked unverified.

At a glance

  • Shirayamigata: break every light on its back. Body shots are nearly wasted ammo.

  • Girl-type: parry the melee, run sideways from spins and ranged shots, back away from the red-glow grab.

  • Kaede Mori: no damage until the third statue is destroyed. Do not waste ammo before that.

  • Tactics unverified, existence confirmed: Cyclops and the Self leader, both named by trophy conditions.

  • No health values, phase counts, or drop lists appear in this guide: none were verified.

  • Last verified: November 3, 2026.

A soldier companion in a dim facility. Boss fights in ANOMALITH are solved by reading the gimmick, not by outgunning it.

1. Shirayamigata: the hospital operating room

Shirayamigata is the boss of the Kirishima Central Hospital mission, fought in the operating room after the nurses station. The rule of the fight is simple and absolute: its body takes little damage, so every shot should go at the lights on its back. Destroy all of them and it drops, opening a window for heavy damage. A shotgun is reported to destroy a light in one shot, which makes the shotgun picked up after Uchisusari the correct tool for this fight, not just a nice find.

Under the operating lights, where Shirayamigata is fought. Aim at the lights on its back, not at the body in front of you.
  • When pillars appear, hide behind one and wait the attack out instead of trading shots.

  • Shoot down its incoming ranged shots with the submachine gun.

  • Do not burn shotgun shells on the body: save them for the lights, where one shot is reported to do the job.

  • Review coverage agrees on the core idea: shooting out the operating lights on its back creates the opening for a powerful attack.

2. The Girl-type Anomaly: chase, then fight

The Girl-type first appears in the shopping street as an ambush with a survival timer. Most of its attacks can be parried, other Anomalies in the area can be staggered with gunfire to slip past, and when the operator advises aiming for the head, enough hits stagger it and buy distance. After more time passes, it withdraws: surviving is the win condition here, and chasing damage is the mistake.

A story close-up with an English subtitle. Operator advice mid-fight, like aiming for the head, is a mechanic hint, not flavour text.

In the Mori capture mission it returns as a forced fight, with simpler patterns than the chase suggested: it dashes to close distance and mostly uses claw swipes and tentacle slams, which can be parried. Aiming at it for too long makes it sway sideways out of the line of fire, so aim fast and shoot fast, and keep shooting while retreating. The fuller shopping street fight notes add the details to respect: parry melee and answer with a sniper headshot or a Ripper Slash plus shotgun, run sideways (not diagonally) from its spin attack, which it can chain four times late in the fight, run sideways from ranged attacks too, back away from the grab that glows red first because it cannot be parried, and step off the red floor marker for its area attack.

Melee is a real answer in boss fights, not a last resort: parry first, then answer while the opening lasts.

3. Kaede Mori: a gimmick fight, in three statues

The Mori fight is a cycle, not a damage race. First, cross a maze while avoiding her gaze, which is shown as searchlight-like beams moving on fixed routes: being caught builds up eyes outside your view, and staying caught long enough forces you back to a checkpoint. Her perception disorder also makes Anomalies look like ordinary objects along the way, so treat any unnatural object ahead with suspicion. Reach a statue, interact to destroy it, and you are moved to a confrontation area; after a time there, you return to the maze and repeat.

In the confrontation area, she creates circles in space, lays rails directly above them, and runs trains through: the circles and rails show the attack area, so step out of it. Each destroyed statue adds a new pattern, including one that fills the floor with rails and trains but always leaves a pocket of empty ground: look around, find the pocket, and dash into it. Until the third statue is destroyed, damage to her is nullified, so hold fire as the operator directs. Once damage counts, she is a large target and concentrated assault rifle fire is reported to finish the fight quickly.

The Mori fight is ritual imagery first and shooting second: statues, gaze, and trains, in that order.
A face-to-face meeting. Kaede Mori is a person before she is a boss, which is why her fight is built from statues and gaze rather than raw damage.

4. What this guide does not claim

Cyclops and the Self leader are confirmed as boss defeats only by their trophy conditions: defeat Cyclops, and defeat the Self leader. No reliable chart consulted for this batch gives their locations or attack patterns, so this guide lists them and stops there rather than dressing up a guess as a tactic. The large Anomaly Igarami is a side-mission target, not one of the five trophy boss defeats, and its tactics are likewise not given here. If a future chart verifies Cyclops or the Self leader, those tactics belong in this guide as an update, not as a new guess.

5. Boss preparation that applies to all three

  • Bring the right gun for the gimmick, not just the strongest gun: shotgun for Shirayamigata lights, sniper for Girl-type headshots after a parry.

  • Send materials through a Portal before a boss room so the backpack is not the reason you leave loot behind.

  • Parry is a boss tool, not a tutorial trick: Girl-type melee is built to be parried, and the no-damage boss achievement exists for players who never get hit.

A steady aim in a bright anomaly space. For bosses, the first question is always what the gimmick wants you to hit, not how much damage you can output.
Soldiers firing at a large skeletal Anomaly. Boss rooms are not the only dangerous rooms: treat every new zone as a fight with its own rules.
