What launches today
FURYU’s October 19, 2026 press release, reprinted by Anime News Network, lists CRYMELIGHT’s launch as November 4, 2026, on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch
2. Readers in Japan will see a different calendar day for the same launch: FURYU’s Steam countdown post gives the date as November 5, 2026 (JST). That is a timezone difference, not two launches, and this article uses the November 4 date for US readers while flagging the Japan date wherever the day matters.
The game is a roguelike action game inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and the latest installment in FURYU’s dark action CRY series. Alice awakens with no memory of her real identity and sets out from the Tea Party Hall into a grand death game born from madness, where she must defeat enemies, confess and confront the sins she has committed, and fight to gain her freedom. Along the way she meets characters drawn from Wonderland’s classic cast, including the childish White Rabbit, a mysterious girl named Mary, the blood bag-brandishing Cheshire, and the gentle yet ruthless Mad, as named in FURYU’s release.
How it plays: cards, sins, and the Wonder Dimension
Two systems carry the combat. The Poker System deals five random skill cards, and building poker-style hands from them opens new combat possibilities, so every fight is a different tactical test. The Wonder Dimension is a field of energy that increases Alice’s power and speed as she defeats enemies and collects their sins; confessing those sins is how she confronts them and grows stronger. In short: kill, collect sins, build hands, confess, repeat, with each run reshuffled by the cards you are dealt.
Price and editions
The base game is $19.99 on PlayStation 5, PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch 2, per FURYU’s October 19 release. The Deluxe Edition is $39.99 and adds a six-item weapon accessory DLC set, a digital soundtrack, a Japanese-language voice drama, and a digital artbook to the base game. On Steam, FURYU says players can buy the game at a 10% discount through launch week; on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, the 10% discount applied to pre-orders, with a platform-specific bonus item for pre-order buyers. This article states the discount as FURYU announced it and does not assert a live store price checked on launch day, so check your own store at checkout: the discounted amount follows from the list price and the announced percentage, and store displays are the final word.
Demo note: Chapter 1, but no save transfer
If you have not tried it yet, a demo is available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, and it runs through the end of Chapter
1. One catch is worth knowing before you invest hours in it: demo save data cannot be transferred to the full game, as reported by RPGamer and Final Weapon, so the full game starts over from the beginning even if you finished the demo. Treat the demo as a try-before-you-buy, not as a head start.
Before you buy
Pick your edition first: the Deluxe Edition’s extras are a weapon accessory set, soundtrack, voice drama and artbook, not extra story content as described in FURYU’s release. On Steam, the announced 10% discount runs through launch week, so the window is short; on console, the pre-order discount has already passed its pre-launch phase, so check the price your store shows now. FURYU has also announced collaborations for CRYMELIGHT with Garden of Witches, Magical Princess and Eternal Palace Sakura, but details are still to come, so this article claims nothing about what those collaborations contain or when they arrive. No review scores, player counts, or post-launch plans are claimed here, because none were verified from a citable source in this round.
