Enshrouded Achievements Guide: All 58 Steam Achievements
Guide chapters8 chapters

Enshrouded has 58 Steam achievements in 1.0: 12 starter, boss, and tool achievements, 11 level milestones from level 2 to level 50, 34 region achievements, and 1 hidden achievement. Steam marks 24 of them as rare. This guide groups them the way you will actually earn them, names every achievement, gives verified unlock conditions where they are known, and is honest about the rest: for region sets, the condition is the same pattern in every region, and the exact locations are a separate hunt covered in our Spires, Shrines, and Sanctums guide.

The shape of the list, and the rarest achievements

Percentages in this guide come from the Steam snapshot of 17 October 2026, shortly after the 1.0 release, so treat them as an early-1.0 picture rather than a permanent ranking. Even with that caveat, the shape is clear: early achievements are held by most players, late achievements by very few, and the rarest achievements in the game are the Cinder's Cradle set and Above the clouds, for reaching level 50, each held by only about 0.1% of players in that snapshot. The hidden achievement is also at about 0.1%, which tells you it belongs to the endgame too. If you are hunting completion, plan around that reality: the last stretch is not a few quick tasks, it is the whole endgame.

Starter, boss, and tool achievements: 12

These 12 are the backbone of a first playthrough. Most unlock naturally while you learn the game, and the two that need a deliberate trip are the boss achievements at the end of the list. An achievement unlock is signaled by a notification in the lower-right corner of the screen, showing the achievement's icon, title, and description, while gameplay carries on behind it.

  • Thus it begins: craft a simple item. Held by 90.8% of players.

  • A place to call home: create a Flame Altar. Craft the level 1 Flame Altar, which costs 5 Stone. Held by 84.8%.

  • Leave a mark: mine terrain for the first time. Held by 83.8%.

  • Erudite: unlock the first skill. Open the skills screen and unlock any skill, for example Double Jump. Held by 87.6%.

  • Shortcut: craft or obtain a grappling hook. Held by 77.7%.

  • Freefall: craft or obtain a glider. Held by 76.4%.

  • Winged Victory: obtain a ghost glider. Held by 27.2%, so this one needs a deliberate upgrade path rather than happening by accident.

  • Thundering success: defeat the guardian of the first Elixir Well. The guardian is the Fell Thunderbrute in the Springlands Elixir Well. Held by 72.7%.

  • Well done: clear the first Elixir Well. Destroy the Shroud Root at the bottom of the well. Held by 72.7%.

  • Dethroned: defeat the shroud wyvern. This is the Fell Wispwyvern, the Revelwood story boss at Pikemead's Reach. Held by 37.4%.

  • King of the mountain: defeat the dragon. This is the Fell Dragon Youngling at Howling Peak in the Albaneve Summits. Held by 8.5%.

  • Pieces of the past: find all forgotten Guard of the North armor pieces. This set is tied to the Broken Guard Of The North Crown relic quest line. Held by 16.5%.

Level milestones: 11, from level 2 to level 50

Each level also brings 2 skill points, so these achievements are really a record of your character growing. Levels 2 to 50 give 98 skill points in total, and clearing Shroud Roots and Elixir Wells gives another 114 exploration skill points, for 212 points at full exploration at level

50. The milestones below are the complete verified list, with Steam descriptions and snapshot percentages.

The drop-off after level 25 is the story of this list. About a quarter of players reach level 25, but only about 4% reach level 40 and about 0.1% reach level 50 in the early-1.0 snapshot. That is not a criticism of the game, it is a measure of how much of Embervale you need to finish: reaching level 50 means playing deep into Cinder's Cradle, not just finishing the early regions well.

Region achievements: 34, in five patterns

Region achievements follow a consistent pattern in every region, which makes them easy to understand and long to finish. A region can award up to five achievements: reach its Ancient Spire, mine every valuable material, read every obelisk, clear all Shroud Roots, and find all Flame Shrines and Sanctums. Steam uses a consistent description format for each, and the achievement names follow the same shape with the region name swapped in. Blackmire has no region achievements, and Cinder's Cradle has no Flame Shrine achievement, which is why the count is 34 rather than a round 35.

No achievement

Read that table from left to right and you can see the real difficulty curve. Spire and mining achievements stay relatively common deep into the game, because climbing a tower and mining materials happen naturally while exploring. Obelisk and Shroud Root achievements fall faster, because they demand completeness rather than passing through. Flame Shrine and Sanctum achievements are the hardest in every single region, dropping to 2.4% in the Springlands and below 1% from the Albaneve Summits onward, because finding every shrine and sanctum is a genuine hunt. If you want one region tip above all others, it is this: do shrines and sanctums as you go, region by region, because returning to comb a finished region for one last shrine is the least fun way to earn these.

The hidden achievement: 1

The 58th achievement is hidden. Until you unlock it, Steam shows no name or description and displays only a note that details will be revealed once you have unlocked it. It is held by about 0.1% of players in the early-1.0 snapshot, putting it level with the Cinder's Cradle set and Above the clouds as the rarest achievements in the game. Community sources report that it is tied to defeating the final boss Vorgoth, and that its name is A new North Star, but Steam itself does not confirm that before unlock, so this guide reports that link as community-reported rather than as a verified Steam description. If you finish the story, you will find out for certain, which is the honest way to treat a hidden achievement.

Hardest and rarest, ranked for hunters

  • Cinder's Cradle set, all four achievements at about 0.1%: the hardest region set, because it needs endgame access, high-level play, and completeness in the tallest region.

  • Above the clouds, reaching level 50, at about 0.1%: the longest grind in the list, requiring play deep into Cinder's Cradle.

  • Hidden achievement, about 0.1%: endgame-gated by every available signal, and unconfirmable until you unlock it.

  • Spark of the Veilwater Basin, 0.4%, and Spark of the Albaneve Summits, 0.9%: the hardest shrine hunts outside the endgame.

  • Veilwater Basin weeding, 0.9%: the hardest Shroud Root sweep outside Cinder's Cradle.

Commonly missed achievements

The most commonly missed achievements are not the hardest ones, they are the ones players walk past. Winged Victory, at 27.2%, is missed because the ghost glider needs a deliberate upgrade path. Spark achievements are missed because shrines and sanctums are easy to pass without noticing, especially in early regions where players are focused on the story. Secret keeper achievements are missed because obelisks look like scenery until you read them. And Pieces of the past, at 16.5%, is missed because the Guard of the North armor pieces are scattered across a quest line rather than sitting in one place. The fix for all four is the same: slow down in each region, read what you find, and check your progress before leaving.

A sane hunting order

  • Play the story normally first: starter, boss, and tool achievements, plus early level milestones, will land on their own.

  • In each region, before moving on, climb the Spire, clear Shroud Roots and Elixir Wells, read obelisks, and hunt shrines and sanctums.

  • Save region-completion sweeps for after the story, when fast travel and a finished build make them faster.

  • Leave Cinder's Cradle, level 50, and the hidden achievement for last: they are the endgame, not a checklist to rush.

A character gliding over the open world of Embervale in Enshrouded

Fifty-eight achievements sounds like a lot until you see the pattern: 12 for learning the game, 11 for leveling, 34 for truly exploring seven regions, and 1 hidden for finishing the story. Play Embervale properly, region by region, and most of the list takes care of itself. The last few, the Cinder's Cradle set, level 50, and the hidden achievement, are the ones that prove you stayed until the end.
