Raft has 19 hidden achievements, and Steam hides their descriptions until you earn them. This guide gives each one exactly what it asks for, and nothing beyond it: no story twists, no late-game reveals, no codes. If a condition could not be verified cleanly, that is said plainly instead of filled in with a guess.

A giant glass dome city rising from the sea: several hidden achievements are tied to places exactly this distinctive, and the table below names only the condition.

At a glance

  • Total hidden: 19 of the 104 achievements, verified against the Steam schema for app 648800

  • Easiest hidden: Is There A Utopia? at 46.4%; rarest hidden: Artistic Collection! at 1.0%

  • How to use this guide: find the achievement name, do only the condition in its row, and stop reading there if you want no more spoilers

  • Price checked 2026-11-03: $13.39 on Steam, down from $19.99

1. Actions anywhere: 3 achievements

These three need no specific island and no story progress, only repetition or depth. Break or pick up 100 blocks for the first, die 25 times for the second, and reach 100 meters below the surface for the third. The death counter is the one players most often grind on purpose: guides note that a fresh save can be used for it, so it does not have to cost your main run.

Glowing jellyfish and coral on a dark seabed: the 100-meter depth condition is earned by going down, not by staying near the surface.

2. Rare small islands: 2 achievements

Two rare small islands each carry one hidden achievement, and neither can be aimed at directly. Small islands spawn at random, and guides put the rare islands at roughly 2% of small-island spawns, so these two are a matter of sailing and checking, not of following a route. One is a crashed plane, the other is a shipwreck island known as Captains Island. Discovering the island is the trigger in both cases.

3. Balboa Island: 3 achievements

All three Balboa achievements are single interactions, and all three are easy to walk past. Follow the bell sound to a bicycle bell and press it, look behind the toolboard, and interact with the scarecrow on a hill facing the Mama Bear cave. Each trigger is one action; none of them needs a fight or a fetch.

4. Tangaroa: 4 achievements

Tangaroa holds four hidden achievements, and each one is a distinct place or object inside the city. Find the secret room behind the boxes in the cargo area, play a note on a piano, activate the Emergency Bridge Launch in the central tower, and go twenty floors down in the central elevator. The piano is bought from a Tangaroa vending machine for 8 tokens, placed on the raft, and played at least once. This guide deliberately does not print the launch code: the code is beyond the condition, and it is found from panels in the city itself.

5. Collections: 3 achievements

Two of these are set-completion achievements, and the third is recipe completion. Find and place all developer paintings for Artistic Collection!, collect all four Tiki pieces while metal detecting and place them in the correct order for Former Glory!, and learn all crafting recipes from Decoration Packages for The Renovator!. The honest gap in this section is the painting count: sources conflict on the exact split between dug-up and bought paintings, and the wiki states only the condition, so this guide prints the condition and does not invent a count.

6. Story milestones, stated minimally: 4 achievements

The last four are story milestones, and this guide states each one in the fewest words the condition allows. Find the white board in the radio station, breach the cockpit of Vasagatan, slay the boss at Varuna Point, and finish the game. Nothing more is said about any of them here, because the condition is the whole point of this guide.

Open sea at sunset: the least-spoiling order is simply to sail, check islands, and let the hidden set arrive in story order.

7. The order that spoils the least

  • Do the anywhere actions first: blocks, deaths, and depth need no story progress at all.

  • Check every small island as you sail: the two rare islands cannot be routed to, only found.

  • Take the Balboa interactions while you are on Balboa anyway, so you never need a second trip for a single press or look.

  • Leave the Tangaroa four and the story four in story order, and stop reading a row once you know its trigger.

Frequently asked questions

Why do some hidden achievements show no description on Steam?

Because Steam hides hidden achievement descriptions until the achievement is earned. The names and global percentages in this guide come from the schema pull, and the conditions come from the official wiki and player guides, not from Steam descriptions.

Which hidden achievement is the rarest?

Artistic Collection! at 1.0%, followed by Former Glory! at 1.1%. Both are set-completion achievements, which is why they sit at the bottom.

Is there any hidden achievement with an unverified condition?

Only the painting count for Artistic Collection! is unconfirmed. The condition itself, find and place all developer paintings, is verified; the split between dug-up and bought paintings is not, so no count is printed.

Sources and honesty notes: achievement names, hidden flags, and global percentages come from the Steam schema and percentage pull for app 648800 in the file supplied for this column. Hidden achievements carry no description in that file, so conditions were verified against the official Raft wiki achievements page and Steam community 100% and hidden-achievement guides. The launch code for Launch Initiated! is deliberately not printed, and the painting count for Artistic Collection! is deliberately not stated, for the reasons given in the article. Price was re-checked on the Steam store API on 2026-11-03 at $13.39, down from $19.99. No affiliate links appear in this article.
