What is DREADMOOR?

DREADMOOR is a dark first-person fishing adventure set in a submerged world, rotting from a past catastrophe, according to the Steam store page. You fish in murky waters, upgrade your boat, craft survival gear, and fight monstrous creatures that lurk under the water and on the land. It is single-player and launches on PC via Steam.

Early Access: date, price, and what is included

Early Access begins November 9, 2026, unlocking at 13:00 UTC, at $19.99. An optional Supporter Pack is listed at $4.99. The Early Access period is expected to last 6 to 12 months. According to the official announcement, the Early Access version includes the full core gameplay plus a complete story line and one main region. That is the official scope for launch day; anything beyond it is not confirmed yet.

What the demo contains

The free demo is live now on Steam. It has its own self-contained quest line set in a remote settlement and the surrounding islands, explored by boat and on foot. It covers fishing, boat upgrades, crafting, and night events. The demo has English and Russian voice acting. If you only have time for one thing before November 9, play the demo: it is the only hands-on version of the game available right now, and everything in this hub is written from it.

Guides in this hub

What is not here yet

No full walkthrough, no boss guide, no ending guide, and no complete collection list. The demo only covers its own quest line and one area, so writing those now would mean guessing. They will be added after the full game launches on November 9, 2026, and only for content we can verify in the game.

Why the wait is worth watching

DREADMOOR has passed 400,000 wishlists, according to the developer in September 2026, sits in the Steam Top 100 most wishlisted games, and ranked 2nd on the November wishlist chart. That is a lot of attention for a first-person fishing game, and it is the reason this hub exists before launch: the demo is already playable, and the questions players ask about it are answerable now.
