Update 2.5 broke the Cyberpunk 2077 mod stack on launch day and repaired it within three days: official framework releases on October 22, 24, and 25 retired the unofficial fix builds. This article tracks what broke, what is fixed, what is still waiting, and how to check any mod yourself before installing it.
Cyberpunk 2077 has no built-in sorter that fixes your list for you. Load order here means dependency order plus deployment order: frameworks first, then the mods that need them, with a short list of pairs that cannot coexist. This guide gives the order, the conflict classes, and a halving method that finds the culprit faster than guessing.
Cyberpunk 2077 modding in 2.5 splits into two ecosystems: a curated in-game mod.io catalogue on console, and the full Nexus Mods stack on PC through Vortex, manual install, or REDmod. This guide covers all four routes, the framework install order, and how to enable, disable, and uninstall without breaking a save.
Update 2.5 broke the old mod stack and then fixed it within days. This list keeps only mods with dated 2.5 evidence: 24 picks with a post-2.5 version or a page listing 2.5 support, plus the dual-wield expansions born in the first 24 hours, and a skip list for famous mods that have no 2.5 evidence yet.
